Diversity and inclusion
Every team and organization has its own way of working and collaborating. Sometimes explicitly, often implicitly. That’s often what makes a team successful, too. Everyone understands each other. But it can lead to people with a different style, quality or origin not feeling welcome or valued. Due to insufficient inclusiveness, much insight, enjoyment and potential is lost. How to make diversity work? How do you harness potential and make the team even more successful?
Diversity in the workplace
Working toward inclusiveness makes diversity in the workplace a reality. Creating a culture where everyone can be themselves and contribute to the best of their ability. It leads to better decisions and team members who feel valued. It simply leads to better results.
Working toward a culture of inclusiveness
That requires a contribution from everyone. To recognize unconscious biases and how they affect our behavior and decision-making. To identify what the usual way of working together is and how the group deals with everyone doing things differently.
